Ortho-Bionomy®
A gentle, non-invasive form of bodywork that uses comfortable positioning and subtle movements to help reduce tension, improve comfort, and support the body's natural ability to self-correct.
What Is Ortho-Bionomy®?
Ortho-Bionomy® is a gentle, non-invasive form of bodywork that uses comfortable positioning, subtle movements, and gentle compression to help the body release patterns of tension. Rather than forcing a change, the work follows the body's natural responses and encourages greater comfort and ease of movement.
Who May Benefit from Ortho-Bionomy®?
Ortho-Bionomy® may be a good choice for people who prefer a gentle approach to bodywork. It can be especially appealing when deeper pressure or more forceful techniques are uncomfortable, or when the body feels sensitive, tense, or restricted.
What to Expect
During an Ortho-Bionomy® session, you remain fully clothed and are positioned comfortably on the massage table. I use gentle positioning, subtle movements, compression, and other techniques based on how your body responds.
Ortho-Bionomy® should not be painful. The work is designed to move toward comfort rather than forcing the body through discomfort or restriction.
My Ortho-Bionomy® Training
I became a Registered Ortho-Bionomy® Practitioner in 2024 after completing extensive training in this gentle, body-centered approach. I incorporate Ortho-Bionomy® techniques into sessions when appropriate, based on each client’s individual needs and how their body responds.
