Intra-Oral Massage

Focused treatment for jaw tension, TMJ-related discomfort, headaches, clenching, and persistent neck pain.

What is Intra-Oral Massage?

Intra-oral massage is a focused treatment that addresses the muscles involved in jaw movement and tension. Treatment includes work on the muscles of the face, jaw, head, and neck, along with gloved massage inside the mouth to access muscles that cannot be effectively reached from the outside.

This work is more direct and focused than traditional massage. Pressure is adjusted to your tolerance and the needs of the tissues being treated.

Intra-Oral Massage May Help With:

• Jaw tension and tightness
• Clenching and grinding
• TMJ-related discomfort
• Headaches associated with jaw tension
• Restricted or uncomfortable jaw movement
• Tension involving the face, jaw, head, and neck

What to Expect

Intra-oral massage is incorporated into a broader treatment that includes massage of the back, pecs, neck, head, face, and jaw, along with gloved massage inside the mouth.

Because the intra-oral work can be focused and direct, I communicate with you throughout the session and adjust pressure based on your comfort and response.
